Although we do not offer mobile key cutting services we have 2 key cutting stations, John G and Co & Locksmith by John G and Co. Both of these stores constantly have thousands of different keys in stock along with cutting edge key cutting technology to allow us to provide a high quality key cutting service at the most affordable rates. Both of these stations can cut ALL types of keys such as:

Cylinder Keys

Commonly referred to as Yale keys, cylinder keys are the most common keys in the UK. We stock over 5000 different variations of cylinder keys meaning we almost always have the desired key in stock. In the rare occasion that we do not have the key in stock, we can order it in for the following day.

Security and Dimple Keys

Most high security locks will use keys that insert horizontally which have "tracks" and "dimples" cut into the key, rather than the traditionally cut cylinder key which is cut into from the top. We have the machinery to allow us to cut these keys and due to us being key centres for both Ultion and ABS we also have the right to duplicate these usually restricted, patented keys (usually they have to be ordered directly from the manufacturer).

Safe Keys

Safe keys are usually double sided mortice keys although on occasions other types of keys may be used to open your safe. No matter what type of key opens your safe, we will be able to duplicate it. Get in touch to find out more.

Tubular Keys

Tubular locks are commonly used on bike locks, vending machines, roof boxes and tool boxes but have many other uses. Special machinery is needed to cut tubular keys due to the unique positioning of the cuts. Luckily both John G and Co and Locksmith by John G and Co have the facilities to cut Tubular keys.

Car Keys

Similarly to security and dimple keys, most car keys also have tracks cut into the centre of the blade. As well as this they use an immobiliser chip inside the key as an additional security feature. Without the immobiliser chip the key would not start the engine of the vehicle but could open the doors. Luckily at our 2 key cutting stations we have the facilities to cut a new blade and programme a new immobiliser chip, perfectly replicating the original key.

Mortice Keys

Mortice keys are also extremely common in the UK. Again we have thousands of mortice keys in stock meaning we can almost always cut your keys whilst you wait unless the blank key needs to be ordered in for the following day.

Keys Cut to Code

If you've lost the key to your filing cabinet, roof rack, roof box, bike lock or any other lock with a code, don't stress. The machinery at our key cutting stations allows keys to be cut using the code on the lock. We allow repeat customers such as landlord to open account with us which allows them to pay off their balance of at the end of each week or month depending on the preference of the customer.
